Walk In + Make-It-Now

Your child can try their hand at glassmaking during this casual drop-in session at Pittsburgh Glass Center. In about 20 minutes, with guidance from experienced artists, participants create either a paperweight or blown glass ornament to take home. The experience costs $55 per person and requires no prior glassmaking experience—just a willingness to explore something new. This activity welcomes children ages 5 and up (with an adult present). Walk-ins are first-come, first-served with 6 spots available each hour, so arriving early gives you the best chance of getting in. Note that finished pieces need five days to cool before pickup, though shipping can be arranged for an extra fee. Check the center's calendar ahead of time, as Walk-In Make-It-Now isn't offered on all dates.
