USS Requin: In-Depth Tour

This guided tour takes you through the USS Requin submarine with a trained staff member, giving you a closer look at each compartment than you'd get on a self-guided visit. The one-hour experience is designed for adults and teenagers 13 and up (younger children aren't permitted). Keep in mind that you'll need to be able to move around the submarine freely, as full mobility is required. Weather and river conditions can affect whether the tour runs, so check ahead. You'll need to purchase tickets in advance—walk-ups aren't available for this program. Ticket holders meet staff directly at the submarine, so you don't have to enter the main building. Carnegie Museums members pay $20, while non-members are $25. This is a great option if your family wants a more detailed exploration of this historic vessel and the engineering behind it.
