Join a free community gathering designed to bring people together around one long table in the Strip District. Whether you're attending with family, friends, coworkers, or coming solo to meet new neighbors, this event welcomes everyone. The setup runs from 1 to 3 p.m., and organizers provide the tables, chairs, and tablecloths—you'll just need to bring a dish to share, along with drinks and utensils. The event happens rain or shine, so weather won't cancel the fun.
If you'd like to take a larger role, consider becoming a Table Captain by registering yourself and six to eight guests, then coordinating decorations and the menu for your section. First-time attendees can simply show up and check in at either end of the table on the day of. Here's a Pittsburgh tradition to know about: bring cookies for the dedicated cookie table!
