Teen Time: Monongahela-Inspired Trinket Dishes
Teens learn Native American pottery traditions and create Monongahela-inspired dishes.
Your teen will explore the rich history of the indigenous peoples who lived in the Pittsburgh region and learn about traditional Monongahela pottery styles. During this hands-on session, they'll create their own decorative trinket dishes using air-dry clay, combining cultural learning with a creative craft project.
This program runs for one hour and is designed specifically for teens. It's part of the library's Native American and Indigenous Peoples Heritage Month celebration in 2026. For more information or to register, you can reach the Carrick location directly.
