Teen Choice

Teen Choice is a casual gathering for middle and high school students who enjoy creative activities and downtime. Whether your teen is into building things, playing games, exploring music and books, or just hanging out with peers, this program offers a welcoming space to do it all. It's designed for grades 6–12 and runs for one hour at Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh's main location in Oakland. This is a great option if your teenager is looking for an after-school activity that combines hands-on engagement with a relaxed atmosphere. There's no pressure to be "productive" every moment—it's equally about socializing and enjoying time with other teens who share similar interests. It's a low-key way to spend an afternoon at the library.
