Super Science
Hands-on science games and crafts at Carnegie Library's West End branch.
Get curious about science! At Super Science, children in kindergarten through fifth grade explore an engaging science topic through a combination of storytelling and hands-on learning. Each session pairs a read-aloud story with high-quality STEM activities designed to spark scientific thinking and foster genuine wonder about how the world works. It's a great way for young learners to develop inquiry skills while having fun.
This program works well for kids who enjoy interactive, activity-based learning and aren't afraid to roll up their sleeves. The one-hour session balances teacher-led instruction with direct participation, giving children plenty of opportunities to engage with materials and ideas. It's held at the West End location of Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh.
