Squonk presents Way of the Drum

Join Squonk's bassist T-Funk for an interactive one-hour workshop exploring the world of drums and percussion. During this hands-on session, kids will discover the science behind drumming and rhythm while learning about the cultural significance of drums around the world. You'll get to play different percussion instruments, participate in sonic science experiments, and play rhythm games that teach you how to count rhythms with a group. This workshop encourages creative participation and exploration, much like Squonk's "Joy Machine" show. Come ready to engage with how drums and percussion instruments work in music by creating and exploring together. To register or find more details, check LAMP's Events page.
