Spooky Speed

Spooky Speed brings Halloween thrills to the Science of Speed track for a three-day celebration running through the end of October. During daytime hours, families can show up in costume and participate in competitive races on a specially decorated track, complete with classic Halloween music and science activities with a seasonal twist. There's a special food offering—Spooky Monster Pizza—available at the trackside lounge. Best of all, any visitor arriving in costume receives a complimentary SimGear simulator race. Please note that while costumes are welcome, face coverings, full-face masks, and weapons are not permitted. If you're looking for an adults-only experience, the venue also hosts an evening program called Fast & Frightful for ages 18 and up, running from 5 to 11 p.m. on the same dates. This after-dark version features faster racing speeds, themed food and beverages, and the same free simulator race for costumed guests. The daytime and evening programs are included with general admission to the Science of Speed, so you'll need to purchase tickets separately for whichever session works best for your group.
