SkyWatch: Life on Moons

Join the Kamin Science Center's astronomy team for an evening exploring whether life might exist on the moons throughout our solar system. You'll discover how NASA scientists search for the building blocks of life beyond Earth and learn about the groundbreaking Cassini mission's discoveries. The experience combines a show in the planetarium with hands-on activities where you and your family can design your own imaginary organism adapted to survive in extreme alien environments—just like real NASA researchers do. The two-hour program takes place in the planetarium and includes access to the private observatory deck, where you'll have the chance to view the night sky through professional telescopes (weather permitting). This rain-or-shine event works for all ages and experience levels. Tickets must be purchased online in advance; the center does not sell tickets at the door.
