Second Saturdays

Meadowcroft welcomes families to experience life in early America during Second Saturdays, held monthly throughout the season. Kids and adults alike can roll up their sleeves and try their hand at authentic historic village chores—from seasonal tasks to everyday work that kept early American communities running. The rotating activities change each month, so there's always something fresh to discover on your next visit. Your general admission ticket covers access to all Second Saturday programming, though advance ticket purchase is encouraged. If your family wants to try candle dipping (offered at every Second Saturday event), there's an additional fee of $3 per person. The program runs from 10 AM to 4 PM, giving you plenty of time to explore the village and participate in hands-on activities that bring history to life.
