Science Stroll: Owl Prowl at Wingfield Pines

Join an experienced educator from Allegheny Land Trust for an evening adventure focused on owls at Wingfield Pines Conservation Area. You'll learn about owl biology and the folklore surrounding these remarkable birds, plus discover why winter is an ideal time to search for them. While spotting or hearing an owl isn't guaranteed, the group will use calls to try attracting them. This program runs regardless of rain or snow, though it will be cancelled only if snow makes driving conditions unsafe. General admission is $5 per person (ages 2 and up); children under 2 are free. Advance registration is required—walk-ins aren't permitted. Tickets purchased under $25 are non-refundable but can be treated as a tax-deductible donation.
