Punkin Chunkin

Watch pumpkins fly across the field at this family-friendly celebration hosted by Allegheny County Parks and SHARP Robotics! A full-size trebuchet will launch squash in front of the amphitheater, and kids of all ages can enjoy crafts, games, face painting, interactive storytelling, and cookie decorating throughout the afternoon. A farmer's market and food trucks will be on-site, so you can grab a bite while you watch the action unfold. If you have a furry friend, don't miss the Bark or Treat event happening during the same timeframe at the nearby dog park—dress your pup in a costume and enjoy treats, tricks, and tennis balls. Best of all, admission is completely free for everyone.
