Music @ Main: Percussion Jam

Your family is invited to join a hands-on drumming session led by a professional musician at the Carnegie Library's Main location. During this one-hour gathering, everyone participates together to create rhythms, share beats, and improvise music as a group. The best part? No prior drumming experience or musical training is necessary. Whether your kids are complete beginners or have some musical background, all ages and ability levels are welcome to jump in and have fun making noise together. This is a casual, creative experience designed to get people moving and grooving in a supportive environment. The program runs for an hour and takes place in the South Wing Reading Room on the library's second floor. It's a great way for families to explore music together without any pressure to perform or know what you're doing—just come ready to listen, experiment, and enjoy the good vibes.
