Meadowcroft’s Taffy Pull & Fall Finale
Pull fresh taffy and celebrate fall at Meadowcroft's seasonal finale festival.
End the season with hands-on history and sweet treats at Meadowcroft's Fall Finale. Kids and families can watch demonstrations of how early Americans made candy, then try pulling taffy themselves to take home (taffy participation is $5 per person, with limited spots available). Beyond the candy-making, explore seasonal activities throughout the historic site: watch cooking demonstrations in the Hamilton Log House, craft cornhusk decorations at the 18th-century trading post, and try atlatl throwing in the Monongahela Indian Village.
General admission to the site includes access to all Fall Finale programming—free for History Center members. Advance reservations are recommended since spaces fill up quickly. For details or to book your spot, reach out to the site directly. It's a perfect way to enjoy the crisp autumn weather and colorful fall scenery before Meadowcroft closes for the season.
