LDA of PA presents Early Literacy Tutoring at CLP – East Liberty

Learning Disabilities Association of Pennsylvania is bringing specialized reading instruction to East Liberty this fall. This program targets students in kindergarten through second grade who could benefit from focused support in reading, spelling, and handwriting. Small groups of up to four students work with a tutor using hands-on, multisensory techniques that make learning engaging and interactive. The curriculum covers essential skills like phonics, sight words, letter formation, vocabulary, and reading comprehension. To get the most out of the program, students attend two sessions per week at the library. Two time slots are available on the day of this event—one from 11 am to noon and another from noon to 1 pm—so you can choose what works best for your family's schedule. Registration is required to participate, and once you sign up, the LDA of PA team will contact you to confirm your child's enrollment and session assignment. Head to the registration link provided to get started.
