LDA of PA presents Early Literacy Tutoring at CLP – East Liberty
The Learning Disabilities Association of Pennsylvania is offering a specialized reading program designed for children in kindergarten through second grade. Using hands-on, multisensory techniques, tutors work with small groups of up to four students to build foundational literacy skills. The program covers phonics, sight words, letter formation, spelling, handwriting, vocabulary, and reading comprehension in ways that engage different learning styles.
The program runs in two one-hour sessions on November 10th at the East Liberty branch. Students are expected to attend two sessions per week to see meaningful progress in their reading abilities. Enrollment requires registration beforehand—once you sign up, the LDA of PA team will reach out via email or phone to place your child in the right session level.
