LDA of PA presents Early Literacy Tutoring at CLP – East Liberty

LDA of PA is bringing a structured reading program to the East Liberty library, designed for students in kindergarten through second grade. Small groups of up to four students work with a tutor using hands-on, multisensory techniques to build essential literacy skills. The curriculum covers phonics, sight words, letter formation, spelling, handwriting, vocabulary, and reading comprehension—all taught through interactive activities that make learning engaging and fun. To get started, you'll need to register your child through the online form. Once registered, LDA of PA will contact you via email or phone to place your student in the right session. The program runs in two one-hour blocks (11 am–12 pm or 12–1 pm), and students attend twice weekly to see meaningful progress. This is a commitment-based program, so plan on consistent weekly attendance to help your child build strong reading foundations.
