LDA of PA presents Early Literacy Tutoring at CLP – Brookline
The Learning Disabilities Association of Pennsylvania is bringing a structured tutoring program to help early readers build confidence and skills. This program works with students in kindergarten through second grade, focusing on reading, spelling, and handwriting through hands-on, multisensory techniques. Small groups of up to four students work with a tutor, covering essentials like phonics, sight words, letter formation, and reading comprehension in ways that engage different learning styles.
The program runs in two one-hour sessions back-to-back, and students attend twice weekly to see real progress. To get started, you'll need to register your child through the online form, and the LDA of PA team will follow up via email or phone to place them in the right session. This is a solid option if your child is just starting their reading journey or needs extra support to catch up with their peers.
