LDA of PA presents Early Literacy Tutoring

LDA of PA is bringing their Early Literacy Tutoring program to the East Liberty library. This program is designed for students in kindergarten through second grade who are working to strengthen their reading skills. Small groups of up to four students work with a tutor using hands-on, multisensory techniques that make learning engaging and interactive. The curriculum covers essential literacy foundations including phonics, sight words, letter formation, spelling, handwriting, vocabulary, and reading comprehension. The program runs in two one-hour sessions on November 12th—one from 11 am to noon and another from noon to 1 pm. To see real progress, students should plan to attend two sessions each week at the library. Registration is required to participate, and once you sign up, LDA of PA will contact you directly to place your child in the right class level. Head to the registration link on the library's event page to get started.
