Kids Club

Your child will explore the Carnegie Library's LAMP program—an initiative dedicated to making reading and art accessible to people with disabilities. During this hour-long session, kids will discover how library staff creates inclusive experiences and learn about braille. They'll also have hands-on time making tactile art projects designed for people with visual impairments to enjoy and appreciate. This program is geared toward school-age children in kindergarten through fifth grade and offers a meaningful way to build understanding and empathy around disability.
