Kids Choice

Your child can shape their own afternoon at this drop-in program designed for elementary-aged kids. They might continue work from a previous Kids Club session, dive into the toys, games, and craft supplies available in the children's area, or share a skill or hobby they're passionate about with other kids. Staff from Children's Services will be on hand to help guide activities and keep things running smoothly. It's a relaxed, flexible way for kids in grades K–5 to explore interests and connect with peers. This program welcomes children to take the lead in how they spend their time, whether they're following up on something started before or trying something completely new. It's perfect for kids who enjoy a mix of structured and free play, and who like having choices in their activities. The library staff is there to support and encourage whatever direction kids choose to go.
