Ki Ki B. Jones’ Charm School and Man Camp in the Steel City

This free, full-day program offers young people ages 10–17 a chance to build practical life skills and confidence in a supportive setting. Girls attend Charm School while boys participate in Man Camp, with sessions led by local professionals and community leaders. Interactive workshops cover important topics like financial literacy, mental health, fitness, etiquette, and entrepreneurship. The program also tackles real challenges young people face today, including managing social media pressure, dealing with online bullying, and handling everyday expectations. Parents and guardians are welcome to join in, which helps strengthen conversations between adults and kids about growing up. Throughout the day, resource vendors will be present to share information about educational opportunities, apprenticeships, counseling services, and more. The program is designed to give participants access to trusted role models, practical tools, and a safe space to ask questions and prepare for their futures.
