Get out on the water at Lake Haigler for a peaceful paddling experience. Whether you're looking for exercise, a relaxing afternoon, or beautiful scenery, kayaking offers something for everyone in the family. Time slots are available in two-hour blocks starting at 9am, with the latest departure at 6pm. You'll need to book your spot in advance—either online or by calling guest services—and arrive within 15 minutes of your reserved time. Each person, including children of any age, needs their own registration. Well-behaved dogs on leashes are welcome aboard too. Cost is $16 per person per two-hour session (members receive a 20% discount). Life jackets are provided for anyone 30 pounds and up; families with younger children should bring their own infant PFD. Kayak types are assigned on a first-come basis, so specific boat requests can't be guaranteed. Leave phones and valuables at home, since the Greenway doesn't allow swimming or diving to retrieve lost items. Cancellations made 48+ hours ahead receive a full refund; cancellations with less notice forfeit the fee. Programs run rain or shine unless severe weather forces closure.
