Inclusive Story Hike – Frick Environmental Center

Join Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy and LAMP/Library of Accessible Media for Pennsylvanians for an afternoon that combines storytelling with nature exploration. You'll gather to read *A Sky That Sings* by Anita Sanchez and George Steele, a book that follows Mia, a blind child, as she leads her aunt on a bird-listening adventure through their local park. After the story, families will take a short walk along Frick Park's Sensory Nature Trail while discovering tactile objects along the way. This program welcomes children ages 3 through 8 and is specifically designed with the blind and low vision community in mind. Registration is required, and tickets are nonrefundable but can be converted to a tax-deductible donation if you need to cancel. The Frick Environmental Center itself is free and open to all, serving as both an education hub and gateway to the broader park.
