Frick Park Stewardship Days

Join volunteers and staff to help restore Clayton Hill, one of the most vibrant natural areas in Frick Park. During this three-hour morning session, you'll work alongside Rachel Hoag, the park's Ecological Restoration Coordinator, to remove invasive plants that threaten the native wildflowers and wildlife that make this 644-acre park special. The work you do directly supports the park's restoration goals, including efforts to help native plants flourish in areas protected by deer exclosures. This is a hands-on volunteer opportunity perfect for families and anyone interested in conservation work. The specific tasks for the day will depend on current park needs, which Rachel will determine before the event begins. Registration is required, and you can sign up through the event page.
