Flight Encounter with Edged Feather Experiences – FEC Amphitheater

Get up close with a magnificent Harris Hawk at this special wildlife program led by Crystal "Cryss" Smith, a master falconer and educator with over a decade of experience training birds of prey. You'll witness the hawk's impressive flying abilities firsthand while learning why these remarkable birds earned their nickname as "the wolves of the sky." Cryss brings her expertise from years of work at the Pennsylvania Renaissance Faire, film sets, and educational programs across the region. This one-hour encounter takes place at the Frick Environmental Center's amphitheater and offers families a rare chance to see a raptor demonstrate its natural talents up close. The Frick Environmental Center itself is free and open to all, welcoming visitors as an education hub and gateway to Frick Park.
