Evening Stewardship Days – Frick Park

Join a hands-on volunteer effort dedicated to restoring Clayton Hill, a vibrant natural area within Frick Park. During this evening session, you'll work alongside park staff to remove invasive plants that threaten the native wildflowers and wildlife that make this 644-acre historic park special. Rachel Hoag, the Ecological Restoration Coordinator, will lead the group and tailor the work based on what the park needs that day. It's a meaningful way to contribute to conservation while learning about the park's restoration efforts, including its innovative deer exclosures designed to help native plants flourish. This volunteer opportunity welcomes families and individuals of all experience levels—no prior knowledge needed. The event runs for about 90 minutes in the early evening. Registration is required, and spots fill up across multiple dates throughout the year. Keep in mind that tickets are non-refundable, though cancellations become tax-deductible donations.
