Evening Stewardship Days – Frick Park

Join Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy for an evening of hands-on restoration work at Frick Park, one of the region's largest historical green spaces. Volunteers will focus on Clayton Hill, removing invasive plants that threaten the native wildflowers, migrating birds, and other natural life thriving there. The park's ecological restoration efforts include deer exclosures designed to help native plants flourish. Rachel Hoag, the Ecological Restoration Coordinator, will lead the session and adapt the day's tasks based on current park needs. This two-hour volunteer opportunity welcomes families and anyone interested in protecting Pittsburgh's natural spaces. Registration is required. Please note that photography may occur during the event, and tickets are non-refundable (cancellations become tax-deductible donations).
