Escape USS Requin: Attack!

Looking for a fun challenge that gets your family thinking together? This 60-minute escape room takes place right inside the USS Requin submarine at the Kamin Science Center. You and your team will solve puzzles, hunt for clues, and work through the vessel to help it escape. The experience combines problem-solving with learning about Pittsburgh history, USS Requin itself, and Western Pennsylvania science. It's designed for teens age 13 and up (with an accompanying adult), and groups of 4 to 6 people work together during each time slot. Advance tickets are required, and pricing is $175 per group for members or $200 per group for nonmembers. Sessions run on select Fridays and Saturdays at 5:30–6:30 p.m. and 7–8 p.m. Plan to meet staff directly at the submarine entrance on the Riverwalk—you won't need to enter the main building. Keep in mind that full mobility is needed for this experience, and cameras aren't allowed inside. Weather and river conditions may affect the program, but if bad weather occurs, you can reschedule your tickets for another date or get a refund.
