Escape USS Requin: Attack!
Escape USS Requin: Attack! at Kamin Science Center
Ready for a challenge? This 60-minute escape room adventure takes place inside the USS Requin submarine at the Kamin Science Center. You and your team will work together to solve puzzles and gather clues as you try to help the submarine escape from danger lurking in the Ohio River. The experience blends problem-solving with learning about Pittsburgh history, USS Requin itself, and Western Pennsylvania's science and heritage. Participants need to be comfortable moving around the submarine—full mobility is required. Groups of 4 to 6 people work through one time slot together, making it perfect for families with teenagers or groups of friends looking for a memorable outing.
This activity is designed for ages 13 and up, with younger teens needing an adult present. Young children cannot participate. Advance tickets are required; walk-ups aren't available. Carnegie Museums members pay $175 per group, while nonmembers pay $200 per group. You'll board directly from the Riverwalk, so there's no need to enter the main museum building. Please note that outside food and drinks aren't allowed inside the submarine, and photography isn't permitted during the experience. Weather conditions on the river may occasionally affect the program, but tickets can be rescheduled or refunded if needed.
