Escape USS Requin: Attack!

Looking for an adventure that combines puzzle-solving with a unique setting? This escape room takes place inside the actual USS Requin submarine at the Kamin Science Center. Your group will have 60 minutes to work together, solve clues, and help the submarine escape from danger lurking in the Ohio River. You'll navigate through the submarine itself while using teamwork and creative thinking to unravel puzzles connected to Pittsburgh history, the submarine's own story, and Western Pennsylvania science. This experience works best for teens age 13 and up, along with accompanying adults—young children aren't permitted aboard during the escape room. Groups of 4 to 6 people book individual time slots, so you'll have the submarine to yourselves. Advance ticket purchase is required; walk-ups aren't available. Carnegie Museums members pay $175 per group, while non-members pay $200. Keep in mind that full mobility is needed to participate, and weather conditions on the river may occasionally affect scheduling. You'll board directly from the Riverwalk and meet staff there, so there's no need to enter the main building.
