Escape USS Requin: Attack!

Your family can dive into an interactive puzzle adventure set inside a real submarine at the Kamin Science Center. This 60-minute escape room challenges groups to work together, solve puzzles, and hunt for clues throughout USS Requin while trying to help the vessel escape from something mysterious lurking in the Ohio River. It's a hands-on experience that combines teamwork, problem-solving, and learning about Pittsburgh's history and the submarine itself. This experience is designed for teenagers (age 13 and up) with an adult, though young children cannot participate. Groups of 4 to 6 people book one time slot together, and advance tickets are required—no walk-ups are available. Carnegie Museums members pay $175 per group, while nonmembers pay $200. Keep in mind that full mobility is needed to navigate the submarine, and participants should know that open food and drinks aren't allowed inside, and photography isn't permitted during the event. Weather conditions affecting the river may impact scheduling, but you can reschedule or request a refund if needed.
