Escape USS Requin: Attack!

Ready to challenge your family's teamwork and problem-solving skills? This escape room experience takes place inside the actual USS Requin submarine at the Kamin Science Center. Your group will have one hour to work together, solve puzzles, and gather clues throughout the vessel to help the submarine escape. The adventure combines mystery with local history, drawing on details about Pittsburgh, the USS Requin itself, and Western Pennsylvania's past. This experience is designed for teens ages 13 and older accompanied by an adult—young children cannot participate. Groups must have between 4 and 6 people, and advance tickets are required (walk-ups aren't available). Members pay $175 per group; nonmembers pay $200. Your group will board directly from the Riverwalk, so there's no need to enter the main building. Keep in mind that full mobility is necessary to navigate the submarine, and please note that open food and drinks aren't permitted inside, and photos cannot be taken during the experience.
