Escape USS Requin: Attack!

Looking for a fun challenge that gets your family thinking on their feet? Escape USS Requin: Attack! invites you to step aboard an actual submarine and work together to crack puzzles and uncover clues. You'll have 60 minutes to help the USS Requin escape from danger lurking in the Ohio River. This experience combines teamwork, problem-solving, and local history—touching on Pittsburgh's past, the submarine itself, and Western Pennsylvania's science and heritage. This activity is designed for teens (age 13+) accompanied by an adult, with groups of 4 to 6 people per time slot. Advance tickets are required, and pricing is $175 for Carnegie Museums members or $200 for nonmembers. Participants should be aware that full mobility is needed to navigate the submarine, and you'll board directly from the Riverwalk without entering the main building. Note that open food and drink aren't permitted inside, and photos can't be taken during the experience. Weather and river conditions may affect scheduling, but if that happens, you can reschedule or request a refund.
