Escape USS Requin: Attack!

Step aboard a real submarine for an immersive 60-minute puzzle adventure. You and your team will work together to solve mysteries and uncover clues hidden throughout USS Requin while trying to help the vessel escape from danger lurking in the Ohio River. The experience blends teamwork and creative thinking as you explore the submarine's interior and piece together historical puzzles tied to Pittsburgh, the USS Requin itself, and Western Pennsylvania's past. This activity is designed for teens age 13 and up accompanied by an adult—young children cannot participate. Groups of 4 to 6 people book each time slot, and advance tickets are required (walk-ups aren't available). Tickets cost $175 per group for Carnegie Museums members or $200 for nonmembers. You'll meet staff directly at the submarine on the Riverwalk about 10 minutes before your session, so there's no need to enter the main building. Keep in mind that full mobility is needed for this experience, and weather or river conditions may occasionally affect the program. Photography and outside food or drink aren't permitted during the escape room.
