Escape USS Requin: Attack!

If you're looking for a one-of-a-kind activity that combines problem-solving with a real historical setting, this escape room experience aboard USS Requin might be just what your family needs. Teams work together to solve puzzles and gather clues throughout the actual submarine, racing against the clock to help the vessel escape from danger lurking in the river. The experience blends teamwork and creative thinking as participants uncover details about Pittsburgh's history, the submarine itself, and Western Pennsylvania's scientific heritage. This adventure is designed for teenagers (age 13 and up) accompanied by an adult—young children aren't permitted on the submarine during the escape room. Groups of 4 to 6 people book a single time slot together, and advance tickets are required since walk-ups aren't available. Members pay $175 per group while nonmembers pay $200. Note that full mobility is needed to participate, and participants should board directly from the Riverwalk without entering the main building. Weather and river conditions may affect the program, but if inclement weather occurs, you can reschedule or request a refund.
