Cookies, Cocoa and Cheer: A Member Holiday Experience

Members get an exclusive early-morning celebration at the History Center before regular hours open to the public. Your family can enjoy seasonal treats at the complimentary cocoa bar, complete with hot chocolate and cookies (served until 10 a.m.). Kids can meet Santa Claus, share their holiday wish lists, and snap a festive photo—each household receives one complimentary printed photo to take home that day. Browse the museum exhibits at a relaxed pace before crowds arrive, including the new Planet Ice exhibition about ice ages. Members also get 20% off everything in the Museum Shop all day, making it easy to find holiday gifts and stocking stuffers with a local Pittsburgh focus. This experience is exclusively for current members, and advance online registration is required to secure your spot. Not yet a member? Joining opens the door to this festive event plus year-round member perks.
