Believe it or Bot: Spotting AI in Online Media

Learn to spot AI and deepfakes in online media at the library.

In today's world, it can be tricky to know what information you can trust online. This program teaches adults how to identify artificial intelligence in digital media and distinguish reliable sources from misleading ones. Whether you're fact-checking for a school project, work research, or just everyday questions, you'll gain practical strategies to evaluate what you find online. The one-hour session takes place at the Main Library's Job & Career Education Center on the second floor. Attendance is in person, and you'll need to RSVP to reserve your spot. This is a great opportunity for adults looking to build stronger research skills and media literacy in an increasingly digital landscape.
