21+ Night: Science of Speed

Looking for a fun night out with friends? This adults-only evening at Kamin Science Center lets you explore the museum without kids around while diving into hands-on speed-themed activities. You'll have access to all five floors of exhibits, live science demonstrations, and special presentations in the planetarium focused on the science of speed. There's also a chance to chat with guest speakers and learn about topics ranging from light physics to automotive engineering. The highlight is the new Science of Speed experience, which features an all-electric go-kart track with elevation changes and competitive racing, plus high-tech racing simulators. You can grab food and drinks at the Pit Stop lounge to refuel between activities. General admission is $20 for members and $25 for nonmembers when purchased in advance; kart and simulator experiences require an additional separate ticket. Note that online ticketing is temporarily unavailable, so tickets after 5 p.m. are available only at the door on a first-come, first-served basis.
